What enrolling means

Enrolling creates your Steward account scoped to the community you've been invited to moderate. No subscription, no rev share — you sign the Partnership Agreement + Stewardship Code of Conduct.

You agree to

Sign the Partnership Agreement + Stewardship Code of Conduct (one-time).
Apply moderation policies fairly + transparently — log every action.
Escalate disputes you can't resolve to the Foundation ombudsman.

You keep

The ability to step back at any time — no contractual lock-in.
Recusal rights when you have a conflict of interest.
Anonymity from your moderation logs in public-facing views.

Foundation share: Not a monetary role. The foundation supports stewards through training, ombudsman backing, and recognition (your stewardship history travels with you).
